ArmorWorks Continues Operation Through COVID-19 Crisis
ArmorWorks is designing and producing armored transport vehicles directly for the U.S. Air Force and serves as a Tier II supplier to large defense contractors manufacturing other military vehicles.
As a small business prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Defense, ArmorWorks is a part of the Defense Industrial Base – Critical Infrastructure, as defined and mandated by the President of the United States and U.S. Secretary of Defense. As such, we are obligated to continue operations throughout the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Consequently, we have a duty to our employees, customers, vendors, and community to ensure we create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
We have therefore implemented the following steps, in accordance with CDC guidelines:
- Actions will be taken to physically separate employees to hinder the spread of the virus.
- All meetings will be held via telecon as much as possible so that employees are limiting in-person exposure.
- No visitor(s) will be allowed into ArmorWorks until further notice.
- All business related travel via mass transit is immediately suspended until further notice.
- Increased janitorial services will focus on disinfecting common surfaces.
ArmorWorks is maintaining frequent and close contact with our suppliers to ensure continuity of our supply chain.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding our operations or safety protocols during this time, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our first priority is preserving health and safety. By protecting our workforce, we remain strong in protecting those we serve.
