This summer ArmorWorks welcomed Kevin Mulrenin to the team as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the company’s new growth strategy. The new executive position was created to help ArmorWorks expand its product offerings to meet evolving threats to personnel and critical assets and to expand the company’s customer base.

Mulrenin’s background includes 25 years of experience leading sales teams in the defense and security market and a proven track record of growing and diversifying organizations in this market, including in depth knowledge and experience in vehicle, personnel, and critical asset protection and survivability products. His successful track record spans a variety of defense companies, including Booz-Allen, SAIC and VSE Corporation.

Since joining the team, Mulrenin has already begun work leading development and execution of exciting new growth strategies for ArmorWorks. In his new role, he is also directly involved in business development, and is helping build strategic partnerships while diversifying ArmorWorks’ customer base and survivability products.

“I am excited about the opportunity to guide ArmorWorks into the next phase of its development and I look forward to executing strategies to position the company to be at the forefront of providing survivability solutions for emerging threats into the future,” Mulrenin said.

Mulrenin joins us from Pratt & Miller Engineering where, as the Director of defense business development, he developed and executed an impressive defense market strategic plan for the company’s diverse portfolio of services and product offerings, including lightweight tactical vehicles, occupant protection technologies, and vehicle sub-systems. He also successfully diversified the business’s customer base throughout several military branches.

Prior to that position, Kevin provided business development in defense/government contract consultation services to multiple clients involved in research and development, manufacturing, and logistical sustainment of advanced technologies.
